Wendy Johns' 5th graders at Simonds Elementary teamed up with their kindergarten buddies from Griffin Oravetz's class for an exciting nature walk at the nearby Red Oaks Nature Center! 🌳🌞 Exploring the trails hand in hand, they soaked in the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. After their adventure, they huddled together to create a special book, blending their observations and imaginations into colorful pages filled with the wonders of nature. 📚 "I couldn't have been happier with this fun-filled fusion of science, reading, and writing, all inspired by their exploration right in our own backyard," said Johns.
