The Michigan Department of Education (MDE), working collaboratively with the School Nutrition Association of Michigan (SNAM), is awarding a Certificate of Appreciation to Katie McConkie for reaching the milestone of 25 years of service in preparing healthy and nutritious meals for students. Lamphere Superintendent Dale Steen proudly presented this recognition, during last night's Board of Education meeting, to Lamphere's Director of Food Services Katie McConkie, acknowledging her significant contribution to the student health and well-being of our Lamphere students. School nutrition employees provide the food, energy, and nutrients required for students to perform at their very best during the school day.
Thank you Katie for all you do for our students and community!
